For your thirst on the water our crew will happily distribute an assortment of seltzer water after we set our sails. You are welcome to pack alcoholic beverages for those old enough to imbibe.
Our crew enjoys teaching the next generation how to raise the sails and coil lines if they are so inclined. We’re always ready to train the new recruits!
Please note: we welcome friendly dogs on all of our sails, but ask that you call us (508- 542-2996) to let us know if you will have a fur baby along with you.
Although our capacity for the vessel is 34 people, we limit groups joining us on a public day sail to 10 or less so that each of our (up to 34) guests feels at home on the boat. Please see our FAQ Page for more information.

The vibes, the pups, the beautiful boat - all of it was a 10/10 experience. Bring some snacks and some libations and you have got a solid, quintessential Cape Cod experience.Posted on Caitlin CrowleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our sailing experience today was outstanding! Having all four sails up was wonderful. The boat gracefully sailed through the waters of Provincetown Harbor. The sight of the dolphins swimming through the harbor was an unexpected treat. Everyone on board was happy and just having the best time, thanks to the wonderful crew. Their passion for and joy of sailing was evident, making everyone feel welcomed throughout the trip. The Schooner Hindu staff provided a memorable day on the water!Posted on Scott FinleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a truly wonderful experience! From the friendly greeting on the dock, to the equally friendly captain and crew, this was by far the best sail I've enjoyed in a very long time. In a word, memorable.Posted on Steve in NEPA (Steve in NEPA)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had so much fun sailing on the Hindu and can’t wait to go again. Felt like we were out with old friends who happen to have a beautiful boat. Our group ranged from ages 2 to 70 and everyone enjoyed themselves. It seemed breezy at the dock but once we were out of the harbor we had a really smooth cruise around the bay. Easily the highlight of our week on Cape Cod!Posted on Dave McKeemanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Last week my daughter and I had the opportunity to sail with the crew of the Blood Hound. I am not overly fond of being on sailboats, but my concerns were quickly resolved by the laid back and talented crew. We spent our time sailing PTown Harbor talking about many subjects like the history of the BloodHound, the ecology of the Cape (Coastal Studies) and of course sailing. Next time down to Provinceton, we will definitely be trying out the Sunset Cruises.Posted on Charles VeithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Top notch! Captain Josh made our experience feel more like a sail with friends than a standard, run of the mill boat ride. Highly recommend! We loved it!Posted on Pamela ForantTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I come back time and time again for the beautiful sailboat, wonderful captain and crew and the sweetest dogs. You can’t find a more beautiful way to watch the sun set than to sail on the Bloodhound or the Hindu. Thanks for another great trip.Posted on Sara FranklinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a fun and relaxing sailing adventure! The crew was so nice and knowledgeable - and let us help pull the sail in at the end of the trip. All five in our group had a blast, cannot wait to come back next visit. Thank you, Bloodhound crew!Posted on Myla Green
